When you arrive at a dSpot location, set your computer or PDA to search for available Wireless Networks. Assuming that you are in range of the dSpot you should see 'dSpot Free Hotspot' appear. Highlight this and click 'Connect' - if all is ok then you should find yourself connected to the dSpot.

Open your web browser and you will be directed automatically to our signup pages. Enter your information  into the signup page and when accepted, you will be invited to download our Application program. Choose to 'run' and it will install it (it's very small) and place a dSpot icon on your desktop.

Double click this new icon to start the dSpot service - it takes a couple of seconds to synchronise and you will enter your username and password (chosen when you signed up). When authenticated correctly you can return to the Web Browser and start browsing the Internet or open up your Email program to send and receive email. There is no need to make any changes to your email settings to use our services.

When you return to any dSpot in future, simply connect to the Wireless Network and start the dSpot application from your desktop.

Whilst you are connected to the dSpot you will see small ads appearing on the screen and then disappearing a few seconds later. These ads pay for the service and we make them unobtrusive and yet hopefully of interest to you. They might include free items and services from local vendors so we encourage you to click them when they are of interest - doing so will open the advertisers page in a new browser window.
